Go for a drive up to Fort Pierce Beach to experience horseback riding on the beach (you may need to call ahead to reserve your ride) or drive a little further to the Inlet and walk out onto the famous Jetty and watch spectacular waves splash up against the rocks. You’ll feel like you’re in the Caribbean when you’re out on that Jetty, looking out at the beautiful blue water. Plenty of photo opportunities here that will make you the envy of all your friends! You may see a manatee pop it's head up to say “hi”. Popular spot for fishing and pelicans often hangout here, as well. Make an afternoon of it and grab some lunch or cocktails at any of the local favorite places to eat here. Stay for the sunset.
